In order to support the smart technology industry in southern Taiwan to create an environment suitable for youth entrepreneurship and employment, the Kaohsiung City Government establishes the " Kaohsiung Intelligence Navigator (KO-IN)” to devote into four dimensions: "Artificial Intelligence (AI)", "Internet of Things (IoT)", "Blockchain" and "Financial Technology (Fintech)”. KO-IN integrates government resources & technology capabilities, deploys/builds an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in Kaohsiung, and dedicates to talent cultivation of smart technology.
KO-IN focuses on seven major fields of smart city, including smart government, smart economy, smart transportation, smart environment, smart security, smart life and smart education, serving entrepreneurship teams that intend to develop or plan to trial smart city technologies and applications in Kaohsiung, providing space, resources and opportunities for implementation.
